Hey guys. We hope that the first day has gone ok. We are thinking of you. I have just completed my 5k race - bit insignificant when you look at what you three are doing but still a challenge in the mud and rain of western park and came 50 out of 3,000 so not bad for an old bird!!!
Anyway good luck for the rest - one down .......... Have moved you on the map Dave.
Take care.

Hi Dave and Guys.
Hope everything is OK and you are all well. The finish line is not far away now. Just keep peddling. Below is just some bedtime reading for you all. Enjoy.
There were three men we liked
Who decided to ride their bikes
After a drink in the pub one night
They decided the time was right
Three charities they had selected
Up on the web it was erected
A two week ride is what they said
50 miles on they were nearly dead
They continued their long trek
Even though they were a wreck
Up hill, down dale they went
So stead fast and hell bent
Cornwall to Scotland they rode
While the man in the van he drove
Sorry couldn't resist. See you soon Dave.

Dave Beasley!! You've left me speechless mate whilst following you're fantastic progress on this challenging trip! I've thought long & hard about what you're gonna need to fill the void of getting up early & on your bike everyday when you finish this horrowing ordeal mate but I've got it! I've had to pull a few strings mind you but since you've not been religiously booking in for spinning for the last few weeks at the leisure the profits have gone rock bottom Dave & their threatening to close its doors mate! So I've managed to wangle you a permanent slot as Hinckley Leisure Centres NEW EXPERIENCED SPINNING INSTRUCTOR !The only catch is you have to start Friday mate so I'm thinking you'd better get some pactise in & hurry home!
Dig in deep Dave & Co you're up there now with the likes of Uwin McGregor & Charlie Boorman the hard parts surely must be over enjoy your last few days! Best of luck. Gemma x
p.s Brad says he quite fancies you in lycra Dave!

We will hopefully be able to update the website later on our arrival at John O'Groats. We are aiming and hoping for about a 3pm finish. Thank you all for your comeents. Dave, Clive, Ian & Yogi.

Fantastic - so glad Tom and I decided to make the effort to be there at the finish, you are all truly stars, (or should that be LEGENDS, Ian?). Tom hadn't intended to join you all on the last day, and I think he might not have gone through with it if he had realised how hard it would be... I still think he should follow in his father's footsteps!!!
It was a priviledge to join you all over the last couple of days and I still find it difficult to quantify just what you have done... but I do know that the efforts you have made over the last 12 months + have more than paid off and you have all made such a difference to so many lives through the charities you have raised funds for.
Hope the journey home is a good one. x
